Creating Users

Creating users in TerraAmazon is possible at any time after the creation of the Conceptual Model, described on page Erro: Origem da referência não encontrada.

Access the interface by going to the menu PROJECT MANAGEMENT → USER.

Note that there is an user already in the User List, called postgres in this example. This is due to the creation of the conceptual model, which generates an user with administrator privileges inheriting the name and password of the DBMS user employed to create TerraAmazon (Refer to Erro: Origem da referência não encontrada, page Erro: Origem da referência não encontrada, for details on user structure change due to the conceptual model).

Type the desired username in the User Name field, mark the desired group in the Group List and tick the button . In this example, the user name is user5 and the group is Operator. This group is the default option and the password created by the system is 12345. Users need to change their own passwords in the first connection.

Repeat this procedure until all users are created. The created users are shown in the User List field.

To change the username, double click in User field and type the wanted name. To enter an email, double click in the Email field and type the user email address. To save the changes, click on the changed user button .
